The Institute would like to thank our many sponsors for their continued partnership and commitment to our Venture Funding Program (VFP).
Applicants to this program, once reviewed and selected to participate, are given the much needed support and technical mentoring that provides the insights, expertise, and relationships to succeed.
WBI is always seeking the support of an endowment but until then, it relies wholly on the financial support of professional corporations through donations, sponsorships, or in-kind contributions that include facility considerations, out-sourced services and/or thousands of mentoring hours annually for VFP Applicants.
To date, the Institute’s 800+ alumni companies have raised over $7.5 billion in private equity, and have employed over 100,000 people. Each year, the Institute’s Cooperative Venturing Network(R) (some 250+ Professional Mentors) donate over 5,000 hours, allowing the Institute to provide nearly ½-1% of the venture quality deal flow in the U.S.
This has been accomplished through establishing value-added relationships between entrepreneurs, capital providers, and key professionals who specialize in equity capital-backed businesses. These education-based offerings allow businesses to successfully present their opportunity to investors.
